PLA is used by IC3D for fit-check pieces and non-functional parts. As a corn byproduct-based material, PLA is a great starter filament, easy to work with, with minimal negative impacts. Given its ease of use, IC3D prefers to use it for large-format parts that require dimensional stability due to its low shrinkage.

Spend more time printing with high-quality 3D printer filament from IC3D. IC3D extrudes 3D printer filament in-house in Ohio, USA. Strict production standards for cleanliness and tolerance specifications ensure the diameter is within +/- 0.05mm and ovality (roundness) is within 4%. Quality is the top priority as each spool is hand checked, and packaged with desiccant. IC3D filament is extensively tested with success on a variety of mainstream desktop 3D printers utilizing various extruder designs and hot-end styles. Using a 200° nozzle and a 60° bed, the first layer went down rough, but the rest were like butter. Turns out my bed was dirty. Once the bed was clean, it was all butter! I printed this on an AM8 (an Anet A8 with the aluminium frame and a ton of upgrades.)

This is a really great filament and I plan to use plenty of it in the future.

Would love to try this filament but they offer 7 colors and only 2 are in stock for 1kg. Maybe next time.

These Mega Spools let you print forever and ever and ever and ever and ever…. it really lets you have stress free printing when doing iterations of parts, not having to worry about the filament running out!

I have burned through a few of these giant spools now. Great print quality, really helps increase production by not having to do very many spool swaps and worry about being next to the printer when it runs out as often. Thanks!

Black PLA got dialed in and prints fine. White has excessive stringing and globs no matter what I set it at. Tried adjusting temp, retraction, and made sure the filament diameter was good with little to no change.

Found I have to run it hot for cleaner prints but still get nasty spiderwebs on any hop and ribbing on larger prints that are like a bad layer height.
