The holiday season is rapidly approaching & we are asking each and every one of the passionate 3D printing fanatics in the community to help warm the hearts of children by 3D printing articulated toys for Toys for Tots!
Organized & fueled by IC3D in 2018, the 3D printing community across several states made thousands of toys that were distributed by U.S. Marines to children in need. This year, the 3D Printer Elves made over 17 thousand toys!
3D Printed Toys
These toys have been lovingly 3D printed using a thermoplastic. While they are strong, they are not indestructible. Tails and arms may detach if they are pulled hard or stepped on. As always, young children should be supervised while enjoying the toy. The toys have been decontaminated using a Chlorine dioxide gaseous process proven effective against bacteria, fungi and viruses.
Sponsors & Participants

NatureWorks turns greenhouse gases into a wide portfolio of polylactic acid (PLA) performance materials called Ingeo. We owe a big “Thank you!” to NatureWorks for their generous donation of resin for the Third Annual 3D Printed Toys for Tots campaign.
What goes into Production Grade IC3D PLA? Premium NatureWorks Ingeo PLA resin, consistent colorants, and our passion for perfection.
Founded in 2011 by a small group of 3D printing pioneers, IC3D continues to grow through the hard work of a passionate team & the support of our community. Our mission: Expand human potential by making manufacturing accessible to all through 3D printing technologies.
